Night Elf. From a little Warcraft III Inspiration. One thing I learned from doing this piece. I am MUCH better as an inker in Traditional media. Inking witha tablet can get VERY nervewracking. I still had a ton of fun with this one.
Unsure of what category to put this.. women, games, fantasy?... Fantasy it is I guess.
Painter 8 and Photoshop 7
Wow, such a great pose, so much movement to it. The purple is so exotic, I like how there are also hints of it in the background. Really helps to tie the image together. Beautiful shading on the skin, the highlights are just lovely. The only thing which bothers me is how large her shoulder looks, but that's a personal opinion. Very nice work!

Thanks.. I know I have a tendency to exaggerate features and musculature. Comes from years of comic art. Superheroes, ya know. Thanks for commenting!

"A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. ... This one a long time have I watched. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh! Excitement. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things."
I really like this pic but I think the right shoulder is too large. And it's not about the muscles, I think it's too big really. Well, just what my eyes can see -__-...
But like always, an amazing pic! Oh and yes, even if I don't have a tablet, I'd rather do the lineart using pens .
I hope someday you let me colour one of your drawings ...that would be cool!
Youre right about the exaggeration. I'm holding a lot of habits from drawing superhero comics.. Hmm... you wanna collab on something? lemme think..... okay!!! email me with some subject matter that you want and I'll pound something out for you!

Great image Flatliner, even if the left shouler is off balance. One thing though, wtf is the definition of a glaive? I seen that name for spears, halbreds, and throwing weapons. Is that a name people used when they can't of a name for a weapon.

\Glaive\, n. [F. glaive, L. gladius; prob. akin to E. claymore. Cf. Gladiator.] 1. A weapon formerly used, consisting of a large blade fixed on the end of a pole, whose edge was on the outside curve; also, a light lance with a long sharp-pointed head. --Wilhelm.
The way I used it is what they call this three bladed weapon that the Huntress's use in the game Warcraft III, which is what this character is based on. You know I had this pic in my sketchbook for a long time, and never saw the proportion error. Isnt it funny seeing things out of other people's eyes?
