Hey!
Have ya'll noticed a slight shift in my work recently?

Just checking...

I have been compelled to show some slightly deeper and more spiritual themes in my work of late. This doesn't mean that I'm never going to do any more comic or anime style stuff.. I just feel the need to express some other ideas.

I feel like we have a responsibility as artists to take our talent to their fullest, ultimate potential. Using our talent to make people think, or see the world in a different way, or transport others to other worlds, or show the world we see to others. Hence my change in subject matter.

I am not as interested in my popular success as I used to be. I just hope that my work might inspire someone to see some things in other ways, and ultimately I'd like to perfect my craft/hobby.

Hitting an artistic wall recently. It probably has to do with all the crazy stuff going on in life. I've been looking at some of my old sketchbooks and it seems as if that long pause from art has affected me adversely.

Meh...

I'll be back soon... My work's just taking a little bit longer to come out, is all.

well... Needless to say, I'm back doing some art again. Wonder how long this new level of activity will last. Hopefully a long time. My work still isn't as good as it was but I thijnk I'm making some strides. Any help and critique is accepted from allaya'll so keep it coming.

Well Well.. funny what happens when you havent drawn in almost a year and then try to start again. Basically, you suck for a while, your muscles cant remember how to move and your strokes are forced and stiff. Then, you kind of get in a groove and begin improving rapidly. My sketchbook still looks like shite by previous standards, but i can feel my rhythm coming back. Been great for me to look at all the work from those of you that are most prolific, too. Much respect due. I'll post something next weekish as my current project is designing my wedding cake. It's hard. I'll post that later too.
